The Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026 will feature 24 Counter-Strike 2 teams competing across two closed qualifiers for the final three spots at the main event. The tournament, with a total prize pool of $1.25 million ($300,000 for players and $950,000 for clubs), will take place from November 2 to 8 at the Bloomage Biotech Biohyalux ECM Arena in Beijing. Of the 16 teams in the main event, 13 have already secured direct invitations based on Valve Regional Standings as of August 3, 2026. The Global Qualifier will gather 16 teams from September 2 to 4, while the Asia Qualifier will field 8 teams. Team Vitality and Team Spirit, two of the biggest names in competitive CS2, have withdrawn from IEM Beijing 2026, reportedly due to the event’s location in China.
