Hyperscale Data, a NYSE-listed company, sold roughly 150.5 BTC last week, reducing its holdings to 958.5352 BTC worth over $61 million as of August 2. Its subsidiary Ault Capital Group simultaneously repurchased about 15 BTC on the open market. A week earlier, the company held over 1,106 BTC valued at nearly $70 million. Executive Chairman Milton ‘Todd’ Ault III said the firm plans to use Bitcoin as pristine collateral to fund data center operations while maintaining a long-term position. Hyperscale aims to build a $100 million digital asset treasury following Strategy’s playbook, though it has halted buys for six weeks amid Bitcoin trading nearly 50% below its October record.
