Hyperliquid has reached an agreement with Circle to direct all yield generated by a $6.07 billion treasury toward HYPE token buybacks, resulting in approximately $498,580 in daily purchase power at a 3 percent interest rate. The first AQAv2 Reserve Payment of $14.58 million in USDC has been received, but only $2 has been transferred to the Assistance Fund, with the remaining $14.58 million pending. Andrew Tate transferred 20,950 HYPE, worth approximately $1.87 million, to Binance while retaining 63,550 HYPE (approximately $5.62 million) off-exchange. The investor realized over $7.24 million in profits from his HYPE sales, purchased at levels below $4.48. This potential $5.62 million sell pressure could offset the demand created by the protocol’s buyback mechanism.
