The token has a total supply of 1 billion units, with 30 % allocated to the founding team under a six-month lock-up, and 20 % reserved for airdrops to wallets that lost money on TRUMP, Biden’s Substack subscribers, and the mailing list run by video journalist Andrew Callaghan. Less than an hour after the Wall Street Journal report, more than $6.9 million in fake LAPTOP tokens had already been traded on Solana, BNB Chain and TON. TRUMP, launched in January 2025 on Solana, crashed more than 50 % within hours when Melania Trump released her own token, and was trading around $2.28 on Monday against a peak of $73.43 in January 2025.
