Google has launched Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash, now generally available through the Gemini API and Gemini for business. Native video generation can reach 15 seconds, up from 10 seconds previously, with support for resolutions up to 4K and synchronized audio. The model adds multi-turn conversational editing, allowing users to refine a clip while retaining the context of earlier exchanges, along with improved adherence to 7 to 10 reference images. Every generated video carries Google’s built-in SynthID watermark. Reported API pricing suggests that a 15-second clip in 720p would cost between $0.30 and $1.50.
