Google Cloud will permanently shut down its Blockchain Node Engine and Blockchain RPC services on December 15, 2026. Since June 15, 2026, new node creation and new RPC endpoint provisioning have been disabled. Remaining customers will be automatically deleted on that date, except for dedicated nodes which must be cleaned up manually. Google has named Quicknode as its recommended RPC infrastructure provider, offering two migration paths: through Google Cloud Marketplace with Google Cloud incentives, or directly on Quicknode’s platform. Teams using archive nodes for analytics or indexing are particularly encouraged to test their migration well before December.
