Generali Investments has launched a natively tokenized share class linked to an existing Luxembourg-domiciled money market fund managed by Generali Asset Management. The use of distributed ledgers allows the units to be recorded on a blockchain while improving settlement, subscriptions, redemptions and liquidity. The share class is currently reserved for authorized group companies and serves as a pilot before any possible opening to other investors. Generali Investments managed 759 billion euros in assets as of June 30, while the tokenized real-world asset market reached 39 billion dollars in September 2025.
