Galderma, a Swiss dermatology company generating $5.24 billion in annual revenue, plans to invest over $650 million in U.S. manufacturing through 2030. The United States accounts for 40% of its sales and represents its fastest-growing market. CEO Flemming Ørnskov relocated the U.S. headquarters from Fort Worth to Boston to access R&D talent, and chose Miami as its operational base to target the Latin American market. The company’s goal is to catch up with Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie subsidiary and the U.S. leader in anti-aging injectables. Foreign direct investment in the United States reached $5.86 trillion by the end of 2025, with Europeans accounting for much of the increase, and manufacturing remaining the largest target sector.
