Galaxy Digital posts $85M Q2 loss, but its data center bet is starting to pay off

Galaxy Digital reported a net loss of $85 million in Q2 2026, a significant improvement from the $216 million loss in the prior quarter. The Data Centers segment turned profitable for the first time with $20 million in adjusted gross profit, driven by the Helios campus in West Texas delivering 133 MW to CoreWeave under a 15-year lease. Galaxy projects roughly $80 million in quarterly leasing revenue starting Q3 2026, with total CoreWeave commitments expected to exceed $1 billion in annual revenue. The company also acquired a 500-acre site in McGregor, Texas, bringing its total power pipeline to over 5.7 GW.
