Franklin Templeton Hits $1.1 Billion on Stellar (XLM), Leaving XRP Ledger Far Behind

Share

Franklin Templeton reached $1.1 billion in tokenized real-world assets on Stellar after a net $200 million inflow into its tokenized money market fund BENJI. Stellar hosts nearly $2 billion in tokenized funds through Spiko, while Ondo and Realiz each hold about $500 million, allowing it to surpass Ethereum in importance for Franklin Templeton. On XRP Ledger, the manager’s presence remains limited to the $200 million sgBENJI fund, with monthly asset distribution volume of $22 million compared with hundreds of millions on Stellar. Monthly stablecoin payment volume reaches $20.48 billion on Stellar but only $9 million on XRP Ledger. This momentum is supported by Chainlink’s integration and a planned joint venture with DTCC that could bring traditional financial instruments on-chain as early as the first half of 2027.
