Several changes take effect in France on September 1, 2026. The maximum duration for sick leave will be extended to 31 days for a first leave, with a possible extension up to 62 days. Measures will be implemented to facilitate access to purchasing or leasing electric vehicles for home aides, their employers, and taxis, with these transactions now eligible for the CEE bonus. The MaPrimRénov’ scheme will be restricted to decarbonized heating and hot water production systems only. Finally, businesses must be able to receive electronic invoices, with large companies and intermediate-sized companies required to issue them and transmit transaction data to the administration, while small and micro enterprises have until September 1, 2027.
