New York-based startup Fin.com has raised $20 million in seed funding to build payment infrastructure connecting stablecoins to local banking systems. The round was led by Expa, the venture studio founded by Uber co-founder Garrett Camp, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Tenet Fund, and sovereign family offices from the Gulf and Africa. The platform already supports payouts in more than 30 countries and over 40 currencies. The company targets the last mile problem in money movement, where stablecoins must be converted to local currency in regional bank accounts. Fin.com’s enterprise clients collectively reach over 800 million users, primarily in South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, where traditional remittance corridors charge fees of 5% to 10%.
