FC Barcelona eyes €45M attacker from Roma as summer spending spree continues

FC Barcelona is considering signing an attacker from AS Roma for 45 million euros. The Catalan club has already spent over 60 million euros on midfielder Rodri from Manchester City, and this potential new acquisition would push their summer spending beyond 100 million euros. For its part, AS Roma has already invested 60 million euros in new attackers, notably Santiago Castro from Bologna and Rodrigo Mora from Porto. The two clubs have a shared history in transfers, with Barcelona having previously signed Brazilian winger Malcom from Roma in 2018 for 41 million euros. No major transfer has been confirmed yet by specialist journalists.
