A fraudulent protocol impersonating the Upbit-backed Layer 2 project GIWA was drained of 766 ETH. The DYORSWAP protocol mistook this fake network for the authentic project. Users who bridged less than 5 ETH may be eligible for a 40% reimbursement. The overall losses from this scam remain substantial despite this reimbursement promise.
