Ethereum’s Hegotá upgrade, planned for 2027, initially accumulated 66 proposals covering censorship resistance, account abstraction, privacy and gas pricing. Among them, only one feature is currently formally programmed: FOCIL (EIP-7805), which allows a committee of validators to publish transaction lists that block builders must honor. Client teams must submit their ranked preference lists by September 10, and any proposal without an active owner will be dropped. ACDE discussions mention a trajectory toward 600 million gas in the long term, compared to the 200 million baseline set by Glamsterdam.
