76% of American millennials are questioning their professional trajectory amid mass layoffs and automation, according to a Glassdoor study. Over one million job cuts were announced in the United States in 2025, a record since 2009, with tens of thousands explicitly attributed to artificial intelligence. To cope, the best-prepared workers rely on four levers: mastering generative AI, turning their expertise into an independent asset, diversifying their income sources, and making their savings work. In this last pillar, digital assets are taking an increasingly important role: 28% of American adults aged 25 to 44 hold cryptocurrency, with stablecoins used for cross-border transfers, ether staking yielding approximately 3% annually, and dollar-cost averaging in bitcoin.
