Earnings season is entering its busiest phase, with roughly 160 S&P 500 companies reporting this week, including Alphabet, Microsoft and Amazon. More than 120 companies had released results by Friday, with about 83% beating earnings expectations, while concerns about artificial intelligence spending triggered a sharp Nasdaq sell-off on Thursday.
