Deutsche Bank, Germany’s largest bank, will launch a cryptocurrency custody service in the coming weeks, initially covering Bitcoin and Ethereum. The service will first roll out in Germany before expanding to key Asian financial centers by 2027. The bank also plans to offer fiat-to-stablecoin conversion services, including USDC and EURC. This offering targets institutional and corporate clients rather than individual crypto investors. The move is part of Deutsche Bank’s corporate banking strategy targeting 8% compound annual revenue growth until 2028.
