Derive, the onchain derivatives platform formerly known as Lyra Finance, has listed two new perpetual futures contracts for its native $DRV token and Ford Motor Company’s $F ticker, both offering up to 5x leverage. The expansion comes days after Derive announced its V3 migration on September 14, signaling the platform is in full build mode. Derive is a self-custodial platform specializing in options, perpetual contracts, and spot trading, commanding the majority of market share in onchain options activity. The $DRV token launched in January 2025 with a maximum supply of 1.5 billion, and the protocol allocates 35% of its fees toward weekly buybacks of DRV. The $F listing marks Derive’s expansion into tracking traditional stock prices, as $F is Ford Motor Company’s ticker on traditional exchanges.
