Deloitte sees a $566 billion lunar economy by 2050

Deloitte published a report valuing the lunar economy at $566 billion in an accelerated-growth scenario by 2050, compared to $343 billion in a more conservative scenario. Core lunar infrastructure, including transportation, energy, communications, and construction, would represent $282 billion, with $206 billion for transportation alone. This infrastructure would enable a second value pool of $284 billion, covering helium-3 extraction, rocket propellant, orbital compute, and in-space manufacturing. Investment in space tech has reached a record $23 billion over twelve months, with $7.5 billion in the second quarter alone according to Seraphim.
