Dee Goens, co-founder and former COO, has replaced Jacob Horne as CEO of Zora. The company has cut its workforce to fewer than ten people and completely pivoted from NFTs to creator coins and content coins, tokens representing creator profiles and tradeable on-chain content. Zora raised approximately $60 million total, including $50 million in a Series C round in 2022 valuing the company at about $600 million. Zora launched the $ZORA token on April 23 with a total supply of 10 billion tokens, generating trading volumes in the hundreds of millions and reaching millions of weekly users.
