David Crowley announces run for Wisconsin governor, endorsed by Obama

David Crowley, Milwaukee County Executive, has announced his candidacy for Governor of Wisconsin. He will face Republican candidate Tom Tiffany in an open-seat election. The Democratic nominee has received endorsements from incumbent Governor Tony Evers and former President Barack Obama. According to the latest Marquette Law School poll, Crowley holds a narrow lead over Tiffany within the margin of error. If elected, he would become the first Black governor of Wisconsin.
