Curve DAO approved yRisk as the new risk provider for crvUSD and Llamalend on September 2, replacing LlamaRisk which departed ten months ahead of its renewal schedule. The vote passed with a wide majority, recording 621 million veCRV in favor against just 5 against. yRisk, comprising two individuals, will receive 125,000 frxUSD plus 568,181 CRV, worth approximately $209,000. Concerns were raised about whether two people can adequately cover the risk scope of both protocols given their other commitments and the rapid expansion of Llamalend markets. LlamaRisk exited early and returned approximately 270,247 crvUSD of unvested funding to the treasury.
