Project11 identifies millions of Bitcoin addresses with exposed public keys holding over 8 million BTC, currently estimated at approximately 637 million dollars. Vitalik Buterin tempers the alarmism while acknowledging that the risks posed by AI-accelerated mathematics must be taken seriously. The only long-term solution would be the implementation of post-AI cryptography.
