The Web3 Security League (LSW3) and the Association for the Development of Digital Assets (ADAN) held their first (cyber) security Forum to address the rising threats targeting the French crypto ecosystem. Phishing and vulnerabilities among digital asset service providers dominated the discussions, with recent incidents at Brevio, Paymium and Waltio illustrating the systemic risk on French user data. During the two round tables moderated by Grégory Raymond, a striking figure emerged: several million complaints are filed each year in France, with less than 10% leading to the opening of a judicial investigation. Speakers advocated for stronger cooperation between public authorities and private actors in tracing and cybersecurity, regretting the lack of a clear regulatory framework for using tracing reports in investigations.
