Between July 2025 and June 2026, the total crypto market capitalization was cut in half, with $2.1 trillion evaporating. Nevertheless, on-chain economic activity measured by Chainalysis declined by only 1.6%, reaching $9.4 trillion. Domestic peer-to-peer transfers surged by 302.9% to $228.7 billion, while cross-border stablecoin flows grew by 77.5% to $220.3 billion. Stablecoins’ share of total value stored on blockchains more than doubled, rising from 11% to nearly 25%. India maintains the top position in the global crypto adoption index, followed by the United States, Pakistan, and Vietnam, with Brazil ranking fifth worldwide.
