Switchboard, an oracle provider for DeFi applications, halted its deployments on Aptos, Sui, IOTA and Movement after a suspected compromise of its Move-based oracles. IOTA credit protocol Virtue reported 47 liquidations affecting 45 users after an attacker manipulated IOTA’s price to $10 million and minted approximately 4.94 million VUSD from a single deposited IOTA. Sui-based exchange Full Sail confirmed vault losses and suspended deposits and withdrawals pending oracle integrity restoration. Sui protocol Volo paused access as a precaution but stated user funds remained unaffected. Switchboard has not published a complete list of affected integrations or a timeline for restoring the four compromised Move deployments.
