Coinbase generated $1.2 billion in revenue for the third quarter of 2026, in line with analysts’ expectations. Its earnings per share of $2.51 significantly exceeded the near-breakeven consensus of approximately -$0.15. In the second quarter, the platform generated $1.22 billion in revenue and recorded a net loss of $359 million. Despite this recovery, the stock had fallen 31% year to date, while the 2026 consensus projects an approximately 26% decline in annual revenue to $5.3 billion. Subscription and services revenue, forecast at $500 million to $580 million, will be crucial in assessing Coinbase’s diversification as trading volumes remain weak.
