Stand With Crypto, the Coinbase-backed advocacy group, announced bipartisan endorsements for three Senate seats and several House races, one month before November’s midterm elections and two weeks after the Clarity Act failed in the Senate on a 49-50 vote. The group chose to back Republican Jon Husted in Ohio against Senator Sherrod Brown, a longtime crypto skeptic, as well as Republican Ashley Hinson in Iowa and Democrat Chris Pappas in New Hampshire. The Fairshake super PAC launched a $30 million campaign against Brown, while combined crypto-aligned political spending has approached roughly $200 million for the 2026 cycle. With over three million advocates, Stand With Crypto warned that senators’ votes would be added to its public scorecard and that its supporters would judge lawmakers at the ballot box.
