Nearly two-thirds of ultra-wealthy family offices now rank inflation as their top concern, according to Citi Wealth’s eighth annual Global Family Office Report. The survey, conducted among more than 350 family offices across over 40 countries in June and July 2026, shows trade disputes falling sharply from 60 % to just 18 % as a primary concern. Rising interest rates rank second at 44 %, followed by global financial system stability at 38 %. Despite these worries, 90 % of surveyed offices reported positive year-to-date portfolio performance, and 79 % remain engaged in direct investments. Family offices are repositioning their strategies around inflation-sensitive assets and short-duration income.
