Circle launched on July 31 a public Discovery API enabling AI agents to search, filter, and evaluate services accepting USDC payments without human intervention. The endpoint supports 14 query parameters and builds on the Circle Agent Stack, a platform that includes Agent Wallets, a Nanopayments system, and an agent marketplace. Every listed service undergoes pre-screening for sanctions compliance and operational health. This multi-chain infrastructure, initially supporting Arbitrum, Base, and Ethereum, positions Circle against Tether, which dominates trading volume but lags in machine-to-machine infrastructure.
