Peter Schiff, a well-known Bitcoin critic, says he could have made a lot of money with the cryptocurrency but argues that HODLers have left even more on the table by refusing to sell. Having skipped Bitcoin for approximately five years, Schiff claims to have come out ahead of Bitcoin holders during this period. He argues that artificial intelligence now competes with Bitcoin for speculative capital, electricity, and data center space. Schiff also warns that AI could eventually find flaws in Bitcoin’s code or cryptography that humans have missed.
