Chainlink and LG CNS announced a partnership on October 22, 2026 to integrate Chainlink’s cross-chain and data orchestration tools into KITL, the digital asset platform launched by LG CNS on October 6, 2026. The agreement aims to expand the use of Korean won stablecoins, support tokenized securities and provide secure interoperability between blockchain networks and institutional systems. LG CNS is the lead contractor for the Bank of Korea’s Project Hangang, whose first phase covers approximately 80,000 customers across seven banks. KITL already has Circle, Securitize, Canton Foundation and Chainalysis as partners; Chainlink will support multiple networks, including Solana, without requiring separate implementations for each one, while providing wallet, transaction processing and data collection services. South Korea’s digital asset market is valued at approximately $68 billion to $70 billion, making it Asia’s second-largest digital asset market.
