Chainlink demonstrated at the 2026 Swift Hackathon a solution automating cash-dividend corporate actions for tokenized equities across four blockchains. The system managed the entire workflow, from announcement to payment and final reconciliation, without manual intervention. The solution relied on the Chainlink Runtime Environment, cross-chain services, compliance services, and market data services, combined with Swift’s ISO 20022 messaging standards. The demonstration was selected as runner-up in the Swift Hackathon Business Challenge but remains a technical exercise and not a production launch. It proved the ability to coordinate corporate actions across different ledgers while retaining the messaging standards institutions already use.
