Cardano-linked privacy network Midnight announced the listing of its NIGHT token on OKCoinJapan starting October 13, 2026. This marks Midnight’s second foothold in Japan after S.BLOX, a Sony Group company that was the first exchange to support the token in the country. Meanwhile, permissionless smart contract deployment went live on the Midnight mainnet, giving developers more freedom to build. Cardano onchain activity accelerated, with 27,500 daily active addresses on October 7 and 542,551 transactions processed on October 8, bringing the network past 125 million cumulative transactions. ADA rose 6.47% in 24 hours to $0.244, while NIGHT gained 9% to $0.049.
