Cardano experienced a 1,085% liquidation imbalance after sustained selling forced long traders betting on a price increase out of leveraged positions. Approximately $2.06 million in leveraged Cardano positions were liquidated over the past 24 hours, with $1.89 million from long positions and $174,080 from shorts according to CoinGlass data. The price of ADA fell 1.64% to $0.20, pressured by expectations that the Fed might raise interest rates alongside renewed inflation concerns. U.S. Consumer Price Index rose 0.4% in August 2026, in line with economists’ forecasts. On the technical side, Node 11.2 integration is underway and will provide the foundation for early Dijkstra testing, with a dedicated public testnet being made available for this purpose.
