The trial of Aiden Pleterski, who describes himself as the “crypto king,” will go to jury deliberations after closing arguments this week. Pleterski is accused of defrauding social media followers of about $30 million between 2021 and 2022 through a Ponzi scheme involving digital assets. Charged with fraud in 2024, he is representing himself in court and says he is innocent of the allegations. If convicted, he could face up to 14 years in prison.
