Bitwise launched Tuesday the first US spot Near ETF in the United States on NYSE Arca, trading under the ticker NRR with a 0.75% annual fee. The Near token currently trades around $5.09, roughly triple its August lows near $1.60, with a market capitalization of $6.5 billion. The fund will hold actual Near tokens and stake them to generate average rewards of approximately 5%, which accrue to shareholders as an increase in the fund’s per-share value. However, the token remains down approximately 75% from its all-time high above $20.
