Bitcoin’s $3K Drop Comes as Fed Rate Hike Bets Surge, but Analyst Remains Bullish

The US economy added 162,000 jobs in August, almost triple expectations, sending rate hike odds above 50 percent. This drove Treasury yields and the dollar higher while pressuring risk assets like Bitcoin. Despite this short-term pressure, analyst Adam Livingston remains bullish long-term, arguing that persistent inflation, rising debt, and the monetary response needed to sustain the financial system strengthen Bitcoin’s value proposition.
