A wallet that had remained inactive for more than a year withdrew 3,009 BTC, worth approximately $228 million, from Binance, according to data from Lookonchain and Arkham. The transfers were made in five tranches over two days while Bitcoin traded between $75,000 and $76,000. It was the same wallet that had deposited 5,699 BTC on Binance when Bitcoin was trading near $89,000, making this a partial buyback of slightly more than half of its previous holdings. The move removes Bitcoin from the exchange’s available selling pools, but the holder’s identity remains unknown and a single transaction of this size does not establish a trend.
