A wallet holding 4,581.94 BTC, approximately $377 million at current prices, sent its entire balance to five new addresses on Oct. 12 in a single transaction. The coins were acquired in March 2020 for roughly $40.5 million, representing a nearly 10-fold increase in value. The transaction paid a fee of 732 sats, approximately 60 cents. The wallet survived multiple market shocks, including the COVID-19 crash, China’s mining ban and Tesla’s Bitcoin payment suspension in 2021, the Terra, Celsius and FTX collapses in 2022, and the 2025 Trump tariff shock. As of Oct. 13, none of the five receiving addresses had spent any funds.
