Datavault AI’s Nasdaq-listed shares fell 49.55% on October 27, closing at $0.067, after the company announced that it had failed to withdraw its Bitcoin from the Biconomy exchange. Trading volume surged to about 244 million shares, compared with 30 million in the previous session. Datavault AI applied in June 2026 to move the cryptocurrency to another account but had not completed the withdrawal as of October 26, without disclosing the reason for the failure or the amount of Bitcoin involved. The company also said that its financial statements for the third quarter of 2025, the full year 2025 and the first two quarters of 2026 must not be relied upon, as it will reclassify the Bitcoin linked to its Scilex investment as a subscription receivable rather than digital assets.
