U.S. mining company MARA transferred approximately 996 BTC, valued at $81.1 million, to Galaxy Digital, though this move does not confirm a sale. Between February and June 2026, its reserves dropped from 53,822 to 35,577 BTC, a decline of roughly one-third. In March, MARA sold 15,133 BTC for approximately $1.1 billion to repay convertible bonds and reduce its debt. Simultaneously, the group acquired a 64% stake in Exaion, an EDF spin-off specializing in data centers and AI infrastructure, for $174.5 million. This strategy marks an abandonment of the full HODL policy announced in July 2024, shifting toward diversification into AI and high-performance cloud services.
