Bitcoin has reached $87,400, its highest level in eight months, after breaking above its 365-day moving average. Short-term traders’ latent profit margin stands at 33 %, the highest since December 2024, with $25,700 BTC in realized profits in a single session, approximately $2.2 billion. CryptoQuant notes that altcoin deposits on exchanges have hit a record high, while spot demand and futures position growth are both declining sharply. The firm identifies $80,000, $71,000, and $67,000 as key support zones in case of a pullback, with bitcoin still trading roughly 30 % below its all-time high of $126,000.
