Bitcoin has risen 40% this quarter, its best quarterly performance since Q4 2024. The cryptocurrency’s price now stands at nearly $83,698, up 6% over a 30-day period. This surge follows a drop of over 50% from its all-time high of $126,080 reached in October. The coin has benefited from news that the U.S. Treasury would try to lower bond yields, as well as from the weakening dollar and U.S. total debt topping $40 trillion in July. CryptoQuant stated that bitcoin was back in a bull market after crossing above its 365-day moving average.
