Bitcoin Sees Biggest Exchange Outflow in Five Weeks Ahead of Fed Decision

Share

Santiment reported that 14,942 BTC left exchanges, marking the largest daily net outflow in five weeks. The move comes before the Federal Reserve’s decision on Wednesday and the release of GDP and personal consumption expenditures data on Thursday. On September 22, 17,755 BTC left exchanges and Bitcoin subsequently climbed above $86,600. Santiment identified $80,000 as the key level: holding above it could support a rebound toward $82,500 or $84,000, while a drop below $79,000 would weaken the bullish setup. Meanwhile, U.S.-listed spot ETFs recorded more than $26 million in net outflows in October after attracting $6.2 billion in August and September. MARA Holdings also transferred 1,000 BTC, valued at around $80.19 million, to BitGo, prompting speculation about a possible sale without confirming one.
