Bitcoin long-term holders, defined as coins held between six months and ten years, have shifted back into net unrealized profit territory after a period of shallow stress. Bitcoin currently trades near $84,000, down from its approximately $126,000 peak in October 2025 but still comfortably above the realized price of $48,000 to $50,000 for these cohorts. Their realized profit sits at roughly 72-78%, compared to approximately 350% during euphoric peaks in December 2024. On-chain analysts view this correction as a mid-cycle reset rather than a cycle top, as MVRV did not compress into the extreme capitulation zones observed during previous cycles.
