ADP data showed private employers added just 44,000 jobs in July, down from a revised 95,000 in June, a 53% decline with 82% of gains concentrated in education and health services. Wage growth for job changers accelerated to 7.0%, complicating the case for rate cuts, while two- and 10-year Treasury yields rose. The official Bureau of Labor Statistics report, released at 8:30 a.m. ET Friday, could determine whether Bitcoin is supported by rate-relief expectations or weighed down by growth fears.
