Bitcoin rebounded toward $84,000 on Tuesday, maintaining its position above the $80,000 level despite a sell-off on South Korean stock markets. The KOSPI lost 7.4% for the week, dropping below its 200-day moving average for the first time since late July. Semiconductor stocks were particularly hard hit, with SK Hynix closing down more than 10%. Foreign investors sold approximately 173 trillion won ($129 billion) worth of SK Hynix and Samsung shares since the start of 2026. Despite these massive outflows, bitcoin held within a local range between $80,000 and $87,000, with resistance at $84,000 capping further gains.
