Bitcoin heads for third winning week in a row as macro pressures mount

Bitcoin is on track for its third consecutive winning week, up 4.6% week to date. The token hit a high of $82,272.31, its highest level since May 11 when it peaked at $82,499.99. After trading in a narrow range between $60,000 and $70,000 since early June, bitcoin broke above $70,000 in late August and has continued to climb. Traders are moving into cryptocurrencies as part of the debasement trade, shifting away from dollars into assets such as crypto or gold. Ether also hit a high of $2,545.62 and solana climbed to about $105.70.
